I’m Yewen, I am a junior UX designer who graduated from springboard. 

I am currently working as a revenue specialist at a computer software company. One day, I saw a video talking about “A day in the life of a UX Designer”. It caught my attention immediately. I did tons of research on UX and UI, and I started to realize how important and interesting UX/UI are. So I decided to make a career change in 2021.  

For the past year, I have learned strong knowledge on UX and UI including sketch, wireframing, user flows, usability Testing, user experience research, ideation, user flow, storyboarding, strong understanding of usability and accessibility. I’ve applied my knowledge on many projects. I also collaborated with other designers to help a company to build the best possible product. 

My experiences in finance as a Revenue specialist and Accountant have helped me build my skill in communicating with different people, understanding their needs and helping them to find the best solutions in a timely manner.   

In my free time, I love to hang out with friends (including my four-legged friend 🐶). I love exploring new trails, restaurants and coffee shops with them.
